Our studio’s weekly kid’s classes are at the heart of what we do. In these sessions, we foster a sense of community while honing our skills in brainstorming, designing, planning, and executing artistic endeavors. We tackle composition challenges together, using constructive criticism to improve and grow as artists.

Class Options

  • Preschool Art Playgroup

    Art-based, sensory class where children 3 and up with an adult, investigate and learn through art and sensory experiences. This is the best messy playdate you’ll ever have, and here's the best part: clean-up is on us. Please sign up and let us know you are coming!

  • Multimedia Art Classes Grades K-3

    No medium left unturned! Students will experience new media each month. In our 2025 Spring Semester, students will paint with acrylics, learn how to make and print collagraphs, design multimedia relief sculptures, weave colorful scenes and learn about Egyptian art with metal tooling!

  • Multimedia Art Classes Grades 4-6

    As with all multimedia classes, they will focus on a different medium each month. Still rooted in exploration, but more emphasis on techniques and exploring the elements of art (shape/form, line, color, texture, space) to inform compositions. As always, allowing for artistic experimentation.

  • How to Enroll

    The only way to enroll is by emailing the studio at jessica@huecreativestudio.com We will always start a new student at the beginning of the month, since projects span several classes.

    Our semesters are Fall, Sept-Dec and Spring, Jan-May. Summer is reserved for art camp.

  • Multimedia Class Grades 7th-9th

    A new medium is explored each month. You will make reductive linoleum prints, acrylic paintings, coil baskets and metal work. This age group will have an emphasis on composition and expression.

  • Drawing Classes

    Drawing is a skill that anyone can do! In this class you will work on weekly exercises in a sketchbook provided by the teacher. As with anything, progress takes practice. Learn with an experienced art teacher and have fun doing what you love!

  • Gelli Prints

    Gel Prints

    Monoprinting, unlike other printing methods, the image created is only made once. This allows for more unique creations, but with more flexibility, as you can use a combination of monoprinting techniques including printing, drawing, and painting. Other forms of printing can be used to create multiple original prints, but monoprinting can only be made a single time. March 9 1pm-2:30pm $45
